PRORROGADO ATÉ 29 DE ABRIL O PRAZO DE INSCRIÇõES
PARA A 15ª EDIÇÃO DO FESTIVAL
Termina no dia 29 de abril o prazo final das
inscrições para o 15º Festival Internacional de Arte
Eletrônica Videobrasil, promovido pelo SESC-SP, que
acontecerá em setembro em São Paulo. A nova data-limite
estende a possibilidade de artistas enviarem seus trabalhos para
a mostra, que nesta edição terá uma nova estrutura,
valorizando ainda mais a pesquisa e a produção do
chamado circuito sul. As
obras inscritas serão selecionadas para três mostras:
“Investigações contemporâneas”,
“Novos vetores” e “Panoramas do sul”.
A primeira enfatizará a inovação nas pesquisas.
“Novos vetores” será voltada para realizadores
ou coletivos emergentes, enquanto “Panoramas do sul”
reunirá trabalhos que ampliam o estado da arte da produção
do sul. Uma obra de cada mostra será premiada pelo júri,
que poderá oferecer também menções especiais.

disponíveis nos links abaixo, e a data-limite de envio
foi prorrogada para
o dia 29 de abril de 2005. As inscrições poderão
ser feitas diretamente neste site. Inscrições off-line,

THE DEADLINE
FOR SUBMISSIONS FOR THE 15TH EDITION OF THE FESTIVAL WAS EXTENDED

is the closing date for submissions for the 15th Videobrasil
International Electronic Art Festival, promoted by SESC-SP,
which will be held this September in São Paulo. The new deadline
gives artists an extended chance to send in their work. The Festival
has been restructured for this edition, emphasizing the southern
scene research and output even further. Submitted art work will
be selected for three exhibitions: “Contemporary investigations”,
“New vectors”, and “Southern panoramas”.
“Contemporary investigations” will feature innovative
research. “New vectors” will focus emerging individual
artists or art collectives. “Southern panoramas” will
gather work that pushes the envelope in state-of-the-art southern
artistic output. The jury will award one piece from each exhibition,
plus special mentions.
Regulations and enrolment form are available at the links below,
and the deadline for submission is April 29, 2005.
Applications will be accepted on-line, as well as by mail. Refer
to the regulations below for further details.
